These days I’m either too busy to update my blog, or just plain lazy. Hehe.

Before we all knew it, it’s October already, exactly 1 year of crap to go through. That’s very long. I’ve had enough of waking up at 4+ and getting home at 9+. Enough is enough.

I love my time during BMT. Even though it gets busy sometimes, the view of mainland and great company made my stay heavenly. Unfortunately, everything changes when you are out of BMT. Tskk.

Now, why am I talking about camp life. That’s because I really have nothing to talk about. I’m thinking of wiping my blog off. But of course, I’ll have to really think about it first.

I recall those days when I start school at 8am and finish at 9pm. It wasn’t fun, at all. I so hated codes and programming. The computing books were as thick as the thickest dictionary you can find in a bookstore. It was hell. But to think about it, it’s much better than whatever I’m doing now.

I spoke to a friend of mine yesterday about uni life. I was taken aback with the nature of her assignments.

Her: I’m supposed to read it (the article, roughly 15 pages) and then write a summary and my critique on it.
Me: Like e-book already siaa!

Me: You still enjoy uni life despite all these?
Her: Well, focus on the goal. Then these are just things you have to deal to reach the goal. Kalau nak senang aje, where’s the challenge right? Got degree also later like I didn’t work for it. So yeah, work la.

Positive mindset. I really need to find more of such people.

Some people have lost all sense of reality when Singapore won silver in the women’s table tennis.

I mean, don’t take anything away from them. They put in the hours on the table and gym and worked very hard for the games.

But, are you interested in becoming the Chelsea of asia? Let’s be straight up here, we bought that medal. Are you proud of getting the achievement? Not me. I’ll be proud if it’s a Malay/Indian/SingaporeChinese who won the competition.

If you want foreign talent so much, why not naturalise Usain Bolt or Wallace Spearman or Micheal Phelps or Muna Lee or better still, rope Liu Xiang in as well. Geez! We’ll dominate the medal standings at the end of the day! Not only that, Singapore will be the proud owner of Olympic records set by Usain Bolt and Micheal Phelps!

Fact is, we have talented athletes who are interested in being masters in their sport. We’ve got talented sprinters, footballers and what nots. Groom these athletes and send them for competitions.
