Mashed Avocado Toasts

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Sea salt
2 slices whole-grain bread, toasted
Red pepper flakes
Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling

Instructions:

Cut the avocado in half, remove pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Add the lemon juice and sea salt, to taste. Mash the ingredients together with a fork, keeping the texture slightly chunky.

Spread half the mash onto each piece of toast and garnish with some red pepper flakes and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve immediately.

A brilliant recipe for everyone! Especially if you’re into shedding inches around the waist. A good combination of lemon, whole-grain bread, olive oil and avocado makes it a perfect snack.
