Bordering on Books

Times Bookstore offers 10% discount on books, 20% on your birthmonth. Subscription’s $15 for 3 years. Whereas Borders dishes out 30% discount on any books, and an additional 10% if you are a Preferred Member. Not so sure about the subscription though… heard it’s around $30. Even if you are not a member, the e-newsletters with vouchers are free!

From what I know, Kinokuniya can’t rival Borders when it comes to discounts. MPH and Popular aren’t even close.

How to get your hands on the Borders voucher? Simply leave your email address on the counter and they’ll send bi-weekly e-newsletters, with vouchers. You have to print them in order to enjoy the discounts. It’s damn worth it, especially if you’re a bookworm.

Take it from me, I buy my books only at Borders, and nowhere else.

Yeahh, but I reckon they’ll close down that store in a couple of years. It’s not really accessible.

Page One? I’ve never been there.
